Orthopedist providers are concerned with the correction or  prevention of deformities, disorders or injuries of the skeleton. Our providers can employ various pain management techniques, manual treatment, physical therapy and bracing to treat a variety of spinal dysfunctions which is central in getting patients moving up and about.


The brain requires delicate treatment. We provide expert care for the brain, spine, hearing and movement disorders including, but not limited to:

Our optometrist checks and corrects your vision. Our Ophthalmologist is a medical doctor   check symptoms such as severe headaches or vision problems and can diagnose and treat a number of diseases, including cancer, macular degeneration and problems related to diabetes. During your regular eye exams, optometrists may find conditions such as corneal diseases or cataracts that need to be addressed by an ophthalmologist to determine if candidate for surgery.

Otolaryngology (ENT)

We specialize in medical and surgical treatment of the ear, nose and throat (ENT) and provide a complete diagnostic evaluation to determine the cause and offer treatment options related to the patient’s unique needs. We also specialize in surgical care for the treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck. ENT conditions we care for include:

We provide quality care for diseases and disorders of the foot. Treatment ranges from surgery to prescribing custom-made shoes; physical therapy to medication. Our Podiatrist also treats fractures and sports-related injuries. Often times the treatment is as simple as adding an insert to the shoes to provide better support and alleviate pain.


Our Pulmonologist can treat upper respiratory illnesses that might begin with a runny nose, sore throat or cough, pneumonia, asthma, emphysema, tuberculosis and chest infections, as well as complications of AIDS and chest injuries


Your physician will refer you to a rheumatologist if he or she suspects one of several conditions including arthritis, autoimmune diseases, back or joint pain, osteoporosis, gout, lupus, tendinitis and scores of other rheumatic diseases. Diagnosing and treating some rheumatic disorders can be very difficult so it’s important to see a specialist if your physician recommends further treatment


Our rheumatologist also treats soft tissue problems, often suffered by athletes. As part of the treatment plan you may receive referrals for physiotherapy, rehabilitation, education programs and occupational therapy. Evidence-based treatment of patients with rheumatism has helped many people return to near normal life. Also on the horizon is gene therapy, offering a new array of treatment

Sports Medicine

Providence Medical Associates Sports medicine involves non-operative orthopedic care for patients who experience sports and exercise-related injuries. We work in partnership with local orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, radiologists and athletic trainers. We work closely with our patients to listen and understand their needs and concerns. We keep abreast of current medical advances and take a personal active interest in sports, fitness and nutritional health. Drs. Georgio and Dr. Salah have completed extensive training and participate in research related to concussion management.


Each physician has been trained using ImPACT®, a concussion management model, used to assess concussions. In addition to completing a three-year family medicine residency, our physicians complete an additional year of education in a sports medicine fellowship program.


Our goal as sports medicine physicians are prepared to help you stay active and engaged in the activities you love to pursue. Our care encompasses every age and ability level. We want to help you prepare for your sport, avoid injuries and improve your performance. For the mature athlete we want to help you stay active and balance your goals with overall wellness.


Services often begin with an injury assessment including overuse injuries in adults and children. Injuries are typically related to soft-tissues such as ligaments and tendons; sprains, muscle pulls and fractures. Our physicians also use musculoskeletal ultrasound, and if indicated, perform ultrasound guided arthritis (hyaluronic acid) or cortisone injections. Assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal areas include:
